Here's how to find us.</title><content type='html'>Greetings, and welcome back to NSCAD for the Fall 09 semester.  If you're new to NSCAD, and haven't yet checked out the Visual Resources Collection, please come in for a visit. We're located on the 3rd floor of the Duke Street building, just left off the elevator.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We've got lots of new additions to our DVD library, including a full run of the films of Andrea Dorfman, a set of early Robert Frank films, and a well rounded selection of French New Wave films. This site is intended to provide&lt;br /&gt;information for our community and patrons.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The NSCAD VRC was initiated to support the teaching of NSCAD U's art history department more than 30 years ago, and over the years has extended its collection to serve the wider scope of NSCAD's community.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our collection includes over 125,000 35mm slides, approximately 2000 DVDs and videos, and a collection of NFB films. We also have holdings of special collections, including artist videos from the Canada Council Art Bank, and a selection of analog and digital audio recordings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Over the next few months, we will develop a resource of digital images, in conjunction with the University of Toronto's FADIS image bank.
